Sanksi

Penyelenggaraan Undian Gratis Berhadiah yang dilakukan tanpa izin atau menyimpang dari ketentuan sebagaimana ditetapkan dalam Keputusan Pemberi Izin Undian, akan dikenakan sanksi sebagai berikut:

Sesuai UU Nomor 22 Tahun 1954 tentang Undian Pasal 12, yaitu denda sebesar Rp. 10.000 (sepuluh ribu rupiah) atau pidana penjara selama- lamanya 1 tahun.
Sesuai UU Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen Pasal 62 ayat (2), yaitu denda sebesar Rp. 500.000.000 (lima ratus juta rupiah) atau pidana penjara selama-lamanya 2 tahun.
Sanksi yang berupa penolakan permohonan izin untuk penyelenggaraan undian gratis berikutnya dikenakan kepada:

Penerima izin yang belum melaporkan penyelenggaraan undian berdasarkan laporan hasil pelaksanaan undian gratis dan/atau laporan dari petugas pemantau.
Penerima izin yang belum menindaklanjuti hasil temuan berdasarkan laporan hasil pelaksanaan undian gratis atau laporan petugas dari pemantau.
